There is a full schedule of activities planned for the Illini trip west.  The Phoenix Illini Club, the Alumni Association, and the Athletic Department are all working to make this a wonderful weekend.  Here are some of the events being planned:

• On Friday, September 7 there will be a golf tournament hosted by the Phoenix Illini.
• Friday evening there will be a concert by the Boat Drunks from Champaign, and also featuring Rob Mehl from San Diego.  It will be held at the Dobson Ranch Inn ($30).
• On Saturday there will be a pre-game party featuring the Cheerleaders and special guests.
• The game will be Friday at 7:30, local time.  The Phoenix Club will be purchasing a block of tickets for Illini fans at a 20% discount. Lower level sideline tickets are $89, and lower level corner are $49. 
• The Phoenix Club has reserved a block of rooms at the Dobson Ranch Inn.  The rate is only $79 per night, a 36% savings.

The Illini have a new Athletic Director, Mike Thomas and new Football Coach, Tim Beckman. This will be a great way to see the new Illini in action. You should reserve your game tickets, your concert tickets and your hotel room NOW!
